Hi, I'm Kari-Anne, a isual artist.
Giving the viewer a sense of recognition is very important to me. It can be a memory, both for better and for worse. I can provoke, but I like to please most.
I’m constantly on the lookout for new motifs, shapes, emotions and use of color, I want to discover new aspects of myself as a person and an artist. I hope I will always be curious.
With my latest series “This fragile world”, I myself experienced a transformation when I stood and painted. The motifs and colors came unexpectedly and quickly developed into something I enjoyed. This surprised me and I spent time understanding what I was really doing. Because if someone had told me a few years ago that I would be painting flowers, I would not have believed it.
I like to go into depth about creating and telling stories through my art. With each new painting I want to grow as an artist and reach out to more people, perhaps inspire.
